Discussion: Senate Passes $1.4 Trillion Tax Bill But Can't Fund Children's Health Insurance

But I have a rough time wanting to spend billions and trillions of dollars to help people who won’t help themselves, who won’t lift a finger and expect the federal government to do everything.”

Do you mean all the millionaires and billionaires who expect the federal government to make them even richer with an obscene tax plan? Those people?

Hey Orrin, go fuck yourself, you festering pile of GOP values.

83 years old…your party about to go down the tubes permanently…might be a good time to retire, Orrin…

It’s a feature, not a bug. Those children should have chosen more affluent parents before being born…duh

After passing a tax bill in the wee hours of Saturday morning that economists say will blow at least a $1 trillion hole in the federal deficit, Congress still has no plan on the table to restore funding for CHIP—which would cost the government about 1 percent of what they plan pay for tax cuts.

This one is easy – Susan Sarandon and the rest of the Bernie-or-bust dead-enders will be nursing the poor children on the sweet nectar of their progressive purity. Huzzah!

Such a sensitive, feeling man. I learned that with his passionate, stirring retort to Sherrod Brown about how he “come[s] from the poor people”. Orrin will do what’s right, doncha think? Yeah, right.

How about we cut some money in defense then? If we truly don’t have the money, or are you saying the children’s lives are less important then any and every defense budget even the ones that the pentagon has said they don’t want or need.

The Democrats need to get on the ball and start making their campaign ads with this quote from Hatch. He also said that Trump is the best president he has ever served under. Another campaign ad ready to go. Why is it that Democrats suck at messaging?

How do you know that they’re not working on them right now? Or that Democrats won’t use this at all in next year’s midterms?

As usual, may I extend another heart-felt fuck you very much to the 10% of Bernie supporters who voted for Trump and to the others who didn’t vote at all because they were butt-hurt. I’m sure the sick and hungry children would thank you, too, if only they weren’t so weak from illness and hunger. But it’s the thought that counts.

Your petty, vindictive votes have consequences, assholes.

The son of a bitch asks us to give him a break. Orrin Hatch doesn’t deserve a break. The old monster should retire with his memories of all the children he wants to deny healthcare.

Another vaguely compassionate Republican (when Ted Kennedy was still around) transformed into another hard-core corporate elitist and Trump lickspittle. puke

Well we agree on one fact which is not fake of course the Democrats are going to use the midterm why wouldn’t it and they why wouldn’t he? It’s true the incompetent Republicans are only concerned with giving entitlements to the super wealthy which in my guess would not include you.
