Discussion: Senate Intel Panel Looking At Jill Stein Campaign In Russia Probe

I think, perhaps, you mean “the plot sickens.”

RT America features some of the most respected Liberal talkers and journalists in America, including Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Chris Hedges and Abby Martin. Hell, even Larry King has a show on RT! Are people really going to accuse all of them of being Putin’s Puppets and Kremlin Stooges? So on the one hand, RT America is routinely derided because they are on Channel 862 and nobody watches them, but on the other hand the network that is on Channel 862 that nobody watches somehow stole the election from Hillary Clinton. Meanwhile Jill Stein, who once ate dinner in the same room as Vladimir Putin, gets to play the role of Ralph Nader this time around in order to cover up the fact that The Most Qualified Candidate in the History of Forever snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and lost to the Patently Unqualified Frontman for the Plutocracy. It’s like 2000 all over again. And while Dems are still fighting the last election, Republican’ts are doubling down on their voter suppression strategies for the next…

The Berniecorns, Steinocrats and Johnsonites were told not to play with matches, and now they’re standing outside the house with the Nancy the babysitter and neighbor Chuck while smoke pours out the windows. The parents, who were meeting with Grandma’s lawyers at the Hill Haven Rest Home, are on their way back in their 2018 minivan. The drunks at the pork barbecue in the Grifton Overlook Park across the street are swilling beer, laughing and pointing. In the distance, the Mueller Fire Department sirens are dopplering up the scale as they approach.

There is a huge problem here of which Stein is a symptom: the ongoing and highly effective use of new communications media by Russia to influence public perception around the world. For example, see this (in the Guardian, ironically a news organ that was thoroughly sabotaged by pro-Stein, anti-HRC trolls in 2016)

The problem is especially acute in the US, where Fox News and the GOP are in a highly dynamic alliance with Russian influence gangsters. Die-hard Stein supporters are as brainwashed as die-hard Trumpists. They still trot out ‘warmongering neocon corporate shill’ as if it’s 2016. It’s not just a problem for Democrats. The honorable Green movement, so effective in Europe and so necessary at this point in our history, has been destroyed in this country.

Democrats should make it a central plank of their foreign policy and national security platform to push back against the Russian propaganda, which is a war on Western values far graver than the one posed by jihadist nutjobs. It will put clear red, blue and white water between Ds and the GOP, and it is absolutely necessary.

Good – hope she ends up in the special “willing dupes and frauds” wing of the federal pen.

Um, Trump’s guilt does not erase Stein’s. They’re not mutually exclusive.

Good. Stein was a minor but useful tool, knowingly cooperating with a murderous dictator, under cover of smug self-righteousness.

She’s as much of a traitor as any of these Trumpist bastards.

Are those photos from Obama’s 2008 campaign, before he was President?

I think that’s the central mystery here. Why were various candidates booking themselves onto Kremlin TV? Which voters were they trying to reach?

Do NOT hold your breath.

It’s worth investigating whether the Russians set up Jill Stein to play the Ralph Nader role. I would be surprised if they didn’t.

Yes Russia put those people on there to give it more credence, that doesn’t make it any less a tool for Putin.
And those who are on it are sell outs.

Let us never forget this epic photo of Stein, Flynn and Putin all together and enjoying each other’s company:

Those were good times for all involved.

Trump got 22,784 more votes than Hillary in Wisconsin. Stein got 31,072 votes there.

Trump received 10,704 more votes than Hillary in Michigan. Stein got 52,463 votes there.

Trump received 44,292 more votes than Hillary in Pennsylvania. Stein got 49,941 votes there.

Regardless of whether they were truly committed Greens or butthurt Bernitdowners, they are most definitely jointly and severally liable for this shitshow.

Hey, teh maths is hard.

Stein and Sanders promised magical unicorns; Clinton did not. All your “numbers” and “statistics” and “factual accuracy” do not concern the Pure Ones.

Just out of curiosity, which set of numbers do you think is higher - the number of people who voted for Jill Stein in those states, or the number of eligible voters who didn’t vote at all?
