NO (actual, legal, binding) DIVESTITURE, NO INAUGURATION
NO (actual, legal, binding) BLIND TRUST, NO INAUGURATION
In practicality, there’s probably no way to stop the inauguration. But if, say, the lame duck Congress put forth a bill to defund the inauguration process, at least we might see Trump reduced to holding his inauguration at a McDonald’s. (If you present such a bill as a “cost-cutting” measure, you might even get some Republican support.)
The Dems should participate in the hearings, asking pointed questions, but refuse to vote because of incomplete information.
Good for them. Doubt it will go anywhere but good for them. After all, we never got Trump to do anything with his, so why should his nominees- they will reason, anyway?
