FFS, can’t anyone keep it in their pants anymore?

Additionally, we have statements from former classmates corroborating that Ms. Watson immediately told friends that Mr. Fairfax had raped her.

Bye, Justin. Don’t let it hit you on the way out.

I mean, there’s a whole range of good things about enthusiastic consent, like for instance “my partner is glad to be with me” and “I’m not committing a major crime and ruining someone’s life.”

Things not looking so great, Mr. Fairfax, this is the second accusation.
You, no doubt will deny this one too.

Luckily, Mark Herring (blackface notwithstanding) is GREAT!

So I’m waiting for the blackface on the penis story … and then took pics!

Except for Northam going full bunker-mode.

We hope. That’s the best possible outcome at this point.

Then again, I wonder what will happen if Northam just says, “I will serve out my term.” There’s certainly no impeachable offense there.

Well, it is Duke we’re talking about.

Unless Lindsey Graham is willing to do his act on national television for Lt. Gov. Fairfax, he’d probably best start seeking alternative employment.

Ok, this is rape we’re talking about. How the hell did this guy get this far in the D party?

Fairfax has to figure that one out. I’m not going to go to bat for him, because there are now 2 incidents, which if true, constitute crimes. He’s in the Franken zone now, where each additional accusation makes each successive denial ring more hollow. If Franken’s issues had been limited to the Roger Stone set up, not only would he have gotten a pass, but he’d be a top 4 candidate for the Presidency right now.

As I keep saying, this is a LOT more serious than the allegations vs. Harring (and to a lesser degree Northam). It is one thing to have done things in 1984 that are offensive now (and to some, but not others were offensive at the time) it is quite another to have actually assaulted now two people.

While I think one needs to look carefully at the whole person if judging offensive statements/actions in the past, I don’t really see a statute of limitations for sexual assult if that is what happened.

That’ll end that … Where does that leave the line of succession?

More scandals will be found or manufactured until there’s a GOTP majority in the VA government.
