Discussion for article #229541
For the last ten days, ESPN ran a poll asking which team will win the World Series–the Royals or the Giants. And every day I wished a third choice had been given: time will tell. Between now and next Tuesday, put signs on your lawn, write letters to the paper, engage your friends about who they’re voting for. On election say, cast your ballot. When the polls close, turn on your TV. Otherwise, ask your children what they learned in school, feed your cat, and read a book. Time will tell.
ARG is one of the shittiest pollsters in the game, but two pollsters, even mediocre ones showing something similar can’t be ignored.
Why is ARG still in business? Didn’t they get caught publishing fake polls like the ridiculous Research 2000 did?
At any rate, they’re pathetic.
Check ARG’s record folks. I remember deleting them from my favorites list after the 2004 election. Way off. I’ve seen some of their polls since then. Same thing…way off. Don’t know how they stay in business. They must do something else that they’re good at.
I’m sick of all the pollsters. Who gives a fuck? the only poll that matters is on election day.
And if NH votes in two morons for governor and senator, they’re dead to me.
I have never seen such bipolar polls in all of my life. Something is up here, and it starts with way too many people making way too much money using questionable modeling for too many polls. ARG is about as disgraced as a pollster could be for a decade now, and that Survey USA poll in Colorado, showing that Udall is only winning the Hispanic vote by 3 points, is just to much of a fantasy to be believable.
