Discussion for article #229626
Why would accusations from Republican underlings be described as “a smear campaign” by DeMaio’s campaign manager? If these young men have call to accuse DeMaio, it is clearly not political in nature, and should be fully investigated before the citizens of San Diego put another depraved man in office. In the wake of Bob Filner, these shenanigans are completely unacceptable.
Landlord JD Bol is a moron. Makes a public claim that he left a urinal in his building out of order for 10 months, then gets busted as a liar. Big fail.
Also big fail: losing candidate DeMaio. He’s clinging to a 1-point lead in a survey performed on behalf of the newspaper owned by one of DeMaio’s major backers.
Had to laugh at the survey results showing that 7% of the people who claimed to have submitted a ballot already (no early voting in Calif, but you can become a permanent vote-by-mail voter) were undecided.
And WTF is this:
Latinos favored Peters 46 percent to DeMaio’s 32 percent, a reversal from the last poll which had DeMaio up among that group by double digits.
There must be all of 15 Latinos in the poll sample.
Strange. Nowhere in Knepper’s fauxraged response was a denial that sexual harassment happened. Just deflection onto the Peters campaign.
And OMG how dare the Peters campaign make an ad letting voters know what DeMaio is being accused of - by TWO ex campaign workers of DeMaio, no less. We all know the GOP would never. EVER. do such a thing if the roles were reversed.
Right? RIGHT???
