Discussion: Sean Spicer To Write A Book To 'Set The Record Straight' About Time With Trump

Unless Spicer’s teaser is alluding to the extraordinary measures Trump took to collude with Russia, I think I’ll pass on his obvious attempt to repair his tattered reputation.

Speaking of which, perhaps he would do better in that regard if he instead created a picture book, one in which each and every page contains another glamour shot of sourpuss Sarah.

“I looked back at the coverage of the campaign, the transition and the first six, seven months of this White House and realized the stories that are being told are not an accurate represent [sic] of what President Trump went through to get the nomination, to transition to the White House and then his first six months in office,” Spicer told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Monday night.

So Trump is the victim here? I thought Republican’ts were against people wrapping themselves in the mantle of victimhood. Oh, that’s right: IOKIYAR…

Who, I mean who would ever buy this book? Sounds like it’ll end up like Adam’s Apple Ann Coulter’s many books that end up selling for $1 on Barnes and Noble’s last chance table.

Good for wiping one’s butt in the outhouse!

Sorry, Sean, but Al Franken already wrote "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them."

He’s sketching out the last Chapter: “My Time in Prison”

“I’ve decided that it is incumbent upon me to set the record straight,” he added.

Record-straightening really doesn’t seem to be one of your signature strengths there, babe.

The title should be “My Head Up My Ass”.

I’ll wait for the cartoon version…a traditional movie would be too highbrow for anything trump.

Take the book and shove it up your ass sideways, Shorty. You should be in the slammer.

White people are always the victim, especially when you point out they are lying.

Isn’t there something about a criminal not being able to profit from their crime? And quite frankly Spicer was on some of those email chains so he either was a babe in the woods or really, really dumb at whatever his job was.

Setting the record straight? Again? Which lies are you going to put in the book relative to lies you told as press secretary? This could lead to several editions as new lies are put forward. You couldn’t pay me to buy it. Actually, you could, I would take the money and return it for a refund. The landfills are full enough without his trash.

Oh but you know he will make the rounds on every blabfest with an empty chair and time to fill.
Shortly thereafter he will emerge as a paid pundit on CNN or MSNBC
You heard it here first

I am going to hold out for the Melissa McCarthy version.

A book? You mean they’re going to kill trees so this blackguard can justify his lies for God and country? That should be a criminal act in itself. Well, Albert Speer got to write a book, so Spicer should be able to too; but like Speer, he should have to wait until he gets out of prison.

We colluded with the Russians.
The End.
See Spicy now you don’t have to, I wrote it for you.

By next summer, that will be the first book ever to go straight from the printing press to the “bargain books” section at Barnes & Noble.

Oh Sean…unless you are REALLY going to ‘set the record straight’ you will do MORE harm to your reputation by pulling a ‘Lewandowski’.
