Discussion: SCOTUS Rejects Appeal In Convicted Ex-Blackwater Security Contractors Case

They go to jail. Meanwhile Erik Prince vacations in the Seychelles.

IIRC Congress anointed Prince’s Blackwater mercenaries with the same lifelong VA benefits that US military get. Prince didn’t even have to provide “health” insurance.

BTW According to Celebrity Net Worth, Prince is worth $2.4 Billion. I guess charging the government 400% overhead is a pretty lucrative deal.

Meanwhile Eric Prince continues to make money from his latest iteration of This Gun for Hire.

Erik Prince seems to feel this applies to anything he does. His sister shows the same belief. Surname is destiny??

That wasn’t a vacation, it was business.

They should go to jail, fucking murderers. Prince too, but I think his time is coming.

I am so hoping that Karma isn’t finished with Erik Prince yet…

Those murderers for hire deserve nothing less.

He is untouchable. When was the last time a billionaire went to jail? They belong to the “pay a fine and admit no wrong doing”.

Anyone know why Erik Prince lives in the UAE rather than the United States? I have always wondered.

Separately but interestingly, George Nader also lives in the UAE. In Nader’s case, he has been involved in several incidents of child molestation and rape. Maybe the protection he gets from wahabbi kingdom’s ruling elite and local culture is permissive of his lifestyle choices and allows him to pursue his interests more freely.

Just when the rehabilitation of Dim Sons reign of error was happening in the media this reminder of the god awful illegal invasion of a sovereign nation rears it’s ugly head. Condi “mushroom clouds over Manhattan” Rice and Darth Cheney both came to the surface last week to speak in favor of pulling out of the Iran treaty and resuming torture. So when do we see Rumsfeld, Feith and Wolfowitz come out of hiding as well?

That’s called murder, isn’t it?

Or are Republicans excusing that along with treason now?

Minor journo style point I want to make here: there are no Blackwater security contractors. They’re all ex-Blackwater security contractors, so I’m not sure what the point is to say in the headline that they are ex. I’m sure Erik Prince would appreciate the slight window of deniability it gives him, since it can leave the impression that they committed the murders after they left the company. At the time of their crimes, however, they were definitely Blackwater security contractors. And the headline should clearly state that.

Fucker was rich before he started the company (cf., DeVos, Betsy).
