Discussion: Scott Walker Tries To Shift 2016 T-Shirts To Pay Off $1.2M Campaign Debt

The NYT story noted that Walker spent $90,000 a day throughout the summer of 2015.

That sounds like a lot to me, especially at that stage of the campaign. Anyone know how that compares to typical presidential campaigns?

Only way I’d buy a Scott Walker t-shirt is if I had a Ted Cruz tattoo on my pecs…which I don’t in case you were wondering.

paying way too much for shit you don’t need that you can’t use to bail a rich guy out of a fuck up – in other words, every republican solution ever

What was reported (here in Wisconsin) was that, unlike other GOP-ers like Santorum, Huckabee & Rand Paul (who ran Spartan campaigns) Walker traveled through Iowa, New Hampshire & South Carolina with an ENTOURAGE OF 70, including a FULL-TIME PHOTOGRAPHER. Was this to record these historic moments as Wanker moved toward his ultimate selection as Fuhrer?

I really hate to see Scott Walker try to make the staff writers at The Onion unemployed like this.

This is definitely the funniest story of my day. Thank goodness for this idiot - he’s good for something for sure - laughs. Keep’em coming. Killer year for popcorn sales and consumption.

so when this lying scumbag goes to Kohl’s to buy a t-shirt off the sales rack, does he care if its the right size or just buys whatever is on sale?

Come on, that could easily be raised by slashing more public services, starting with fat cat government clerks, mail folks, etc.

Talk to the Koch Bros, they are the assholes that made you believe (against all personal evidence) that you were their guy & would make a fine pup-er—President.

Remember, he’s talking to small contributors here. In other words, ā€œYou fell for my scam at least once before, so please fall for it again. And if you do, I’ll put you on my special list to hit up for even more free money later.ā€

So, who holds the debt?
Let me guess.
Scotty loaned the money to himself…
Poor, Scotty…

There’s a lot of things you can do with the t shirt. You can change your oil with it. You can clean up vomit with it. You can wipe your ass or your dog’s ass with it.
Any of those is better than wearing it.

Crash-n-burn, you weasel!! It took Hillary 6 years to pay off her 2008 debt, John Glenn took 12 years for his. It’s sure fun to spend that money when you are up. Every dollar is owed to some actual person. I wonder if he has paid the bill for these shirts he’s selling.

I thought he had rich friends in high places, like the Kochsucker Brothers. 1.2 million is a drop in the bucket for them. I guess they aren’t too happy about his lackluster attempt at running for president. I guess they never considered he may have needed some credentials and smarts to run.

In a lot of cases, it’s chumps who did not get cash up front for merch. Printers, button manufacturers, etc. Actual people with real businesses.
