Low energy flattery. Sad!
@doremus_jessup Given the health care reform cock-up, I’d gauge the WH incapable of infrastructure deviousness. In all likelihood it will be a half-assed, eleventh-hour naked scam denounced by all.

Don’t everyone act shocked. It has been reported and emphasized over and over again by people who’ve met Trump that he is usually cordial and very agreeable in person, and particularly in one on one meetings.
It’s also true that he either forgets everything he agreed to by the end of his next conversation, or lies and has no intention of following through on anything he agrees to do.
I suspect they’ll hold off until they can benefit in the mid-terms.
Here’s Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) speaking on the House floor yesterday. With total clarity, Rep. Jeffries (NY) says he will not work on any comprehensive tax reforms with the leadership in the House until they provide all Representatives with open records of Pr*sident DJ Trickster’s tax returns.
Even if Distracted Donnie doesn’t agree, they can compel him to have those tax returns released. That’s been known for some time now too. So its not just up to DJT himself.
Until DJT willingly or unwillingly shows all of Congress his tax returns, there is no reason to make any considerations on tax policy without knowing how it would impact or apply to DJT’s business dealings or personal self-interests, according to Jeffries. I agree. This guy gets it!
Ya gotta ask
1.Is he that clueless and so far inside the bubble he doesn’t understand?
2. He understands but is so stupid he thinks that deflection will work?
3. He is just fucking stupid?
4. He is just fucking evil?

I think Schiff was trolling Trump. Because Trump couldn’t act in person as if he was scared about any of the results of an investigation. That’s why, for instance, Trump overruled his staff about letting Schiff’s staff director see the documents instead of just Schiff.
Every Democrat should fan out on cable news shows and echo that sentiment.
FIFY
Thank you Katie! Finally a pro asks the one question I was dying to have an answer to following Schiff’s comments after the Congressman said he’d met briefly with Trump.
“Staff grumbling,” I bet…More proof Trump’s clay anyone can mold if they get close enough.
Breaking: Bannon off the National Security Council:
Yes.
They’re getting scared. Or maybe McMaster threatened to quit if Bannon wasn’t gone. Or both.
Wow.
Don’t tell me he’s going to pivot…
Yep. This is what resistance looks like when a higher principle is at stake.
@ghost Just wait - couple of weeks from now…
Reporter: Mr. President, regarding Steve Bannon’s role…
Trump: Steve Who?
Just spec’latin. What if Bannon was among thise unmasked?
That’s a reasonable assumption and I like it!
Let’s move it here, Allegra’s got it up now:
It will be an attempt to do away with the Davis-Bacon requirement that all federally funded projects pay prevailing, i.e. union scale wages and benefits. Slashing workers pay and benefits and getting that extra funding into the hands of the corporate contractors will be top of the list as infrastructure wheeling and dealing goes forward.
