Discussion: Schiff: Nunes Didn't Share FBI Agents' Tip About Clinton Emails On Weiner Laptop

Recognizing the problem is more than half way there. I fervently hope they act on it. I kind of think they will given that they see it.

if so, then that’s dangerous as hell.

Mind you, this country is dealing with a home press corps that still has problems covering this administration. However with Trump claiming vindication (because of supposed bias), its going to be interesting to see how DOJ answers this question.

Now these are the same folks who equated Trump to G. Washington, but these are also the same knuckleheads who said that tweets = official presidential statements.

so get your popcorn ready.

“It is deeply disturbing, because if this was shared by New York field agents with Devin Nunes, was it also shared with Rudy Giuliani?” he said. “Or did Devin Nunes do something which we have seen subsequently, which is coordinate with the Trump team? Was this information shared by the committee with Rudy Giuliani, or shared directly with him?”

To which Nunes and Giuliani replied

Totally OT

And all we got was an oversized envelope.

It’s bigger news now that he didn’t.

Under the Presidential Records Act, they do, at least to the extent that they must be preserved. So future historians will have the rich legacy of Trump tweets to look back on as they try to analyze how in the bloody f’ing hell the USA ever got to this low point.

How in heck did they get SK to agree with that?

Of course, they got rid of the woman in charge, didn’t they.

With your own eyes and their own words you can see the net is wide.

What will we tolerate?

“You don’t like it, we can arrange for some small nukes to explain to you where we are on this issue.”

Comey was fired shortly after ordering an investigation of NY FBI leaks to Rudy and possibly trump. I think that nunes to trying to cover for trump, rudy and ther guy in the NY office…

Trump keeps ranting about the cost of the joint US-SK military operations. This is all I could find in a quick search: How much money would the U.S. save by ending Korean “war games”? (from CBS news). If that’s accurate, then that’s about 1/10 of his $30 million military parade…

I have been wondering when the “good” FBI agents leak would blow up in Nunes face. So far the media has treated it as just another meh.

You know what would really save money? If we were to unilaterally disarm all nukes, pull out of South Korea and Japan and Europe and Qatar, decommission our Pacific fleet, and close two thirds of our domestic bases. What’s not to love in that plan?

I doubt the blackmail involved nukes.

Of course, there’s always bribery.

And as for the former president:

TOKYO — Former South Korean president Park Geun-hye was Friday sentenced to 24 years in prison — effectively for the rest of the 66-year-old’s life — after being found guilty of charges including bribery, coercion and abuse of power.

How interesting.

His prosecutorial career includes going after an FBI agent who was selling secrets to the Russians. Just by the way, y’know?

And this:

“We don’t know the answer, but we hope the inspector general will find out.”

Is a not-so-subtle notice to the DOJ IG to either do their job now, or expect some pointed requests, as soon as the Hon. Mr. Schiff assumes the chairmanship of the committee in the next Congress.

Plenty of yellow-bellied weasels to go around.

You get an indictment. And you get an indictment. Everybody gets an indictment.

I wonder whatever happened to the charges I thought had been brought against Bibi Netanyahu?
