The mistake Joe makes is thinking that a majority in the US would support total war in the ME. If Jeb is their nominee,GOPs like Joe are putting him in an impossible position.

Barack Obama could have done nothing but stay in the bathroom and read “X-Men” comics since his inauguration and he would STILL have a more sensible foreign policy than the Cheney/Bush administration.

I really wish Obama would hold a press conference and say he has a warplane all fueled up and ready on the tarmac, and all he’s waiting for is McCain, Graham, Scarborough, Cruz, and the rest of these government and media chickenhawks to get on board so they can be flown to the Middle East and fight and win for their country. And he’ll even pay the taxi fare to the airport!

One of the bigger mistake we make, as lefties, is not taking these people seriously enough and laughing at/dismissing them. These people are dead ass serious. Their dumb voters are even more serious. Palin is a joke, but probably until very recently, she could’ve been a legitimate political force if she decided to stop grifting.

The GOP spent from about mid-2004 (when the insurgency started to kick into high gear) to 2011 blabbering about “victory” in Iraq but they NEVER COULD DEFINE WHAT THAT MEANT even when asked directly. It’s a meaningless word.
Plus when Obama did ask for an authorization to go to war in Syria (reluctantly, because they were pushing him to go to war against Assad and on behalf of what would become ISIS) Congress, specifically the House, sat around with their dicks in their hands trying to put off actually making any kind of decision they would want to be held responsible for. The job of POTUS is much easier from the peanut gallery.
