Goodness gracious. They certainly are not sending their best.

Would you like a bigger shovel, Scaramouche?

No wonder Spicer is abandoning ship.

ETA: and this is the guy threatening others over leaks …

MOOCH: Let’s practice your execu-speak. “I’m worried about blank.”

DONALD: Don’t you worry about blank! Let me worry about blank!

[later]

SEKULOW: Mr. President, I’m worried about our messaging on pardons.

DONALD: Don’t you worry about our messaging on pardons! Let me worry about blank!

I’m begining to like this guy…, as a source of continuing wonderment, drollery and zany comic antics. I can imagine him as a recurring Seinfeld character.

“We have not, and continue to not, have conversations with the President of the United States regarding pardons. Pardons have not been discussed, and pardons are not on the table,” Jay Sekulow, an attorney on Trump’s outside legal team, said on ABC News’ “This Week.”

Um…

White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci on Sunday said he and President Donald Trump discussed pardons during a meeting last week in the Oval Office.

I guess you’re out of the loop, Sekulow.

“I’m in the Oval Office with the President last week, we’re talking about that, he says he brought that up,” Scaramucci said

Another preening narcissist who can’t help himself.

He’s already outed Trump as his “anonymous source” this morning. Just couldn’t help it. Now it’s all about him being in that citadel of power, the Oval Office.

This can’t end well since there’s only room for one braggart. He’s sucking all the oxygen out of the Administration. What’s next from him? Early morning head-scratching tweets?

But I’m glad he’s calling Sekulow a liar.

We also talked about standby flights on Aeroflot; that just came up, too.

Who ever thought we’d look back to the “old days” of Sean Spicer as the age of competence in this Administration?

And it’s been just two days since his resignation!

When your newest hire thinks you are guilty enough of something that it’s time to talk pardons, I don’t see much hope for Trump’s lawyers to pursue any other course.

He’s pretty much into getting his face on camera and nothing else. Donald sure knows how to pick them.

So he’s already contradicted the lawyer. How soon before he has to lawyer up himself?

It gets better:
"Then, at the end of the lengthy and, at times, heated interview, Scaramucci said there’s only one thing he’s asking of Sanders.
“Sarah, if you’re watching,” he said. “I love the hair and makeup person that we had on Friday, so I’d like to continue to use the hair and makeup person.”"

So the Mooch isn’t on the same page with either Sanders or Sekulow. Everyone seems to be making their own determinations and calling it gospel.

Along the same lines as sandyh, I have to wonder why the Comms Director is going out on tv with more frequency than the Press Secretary. Unless, it was ordered by Rump himself…

Actually, it looks to me like he’s sticking his head into the loop. Of rope.

If you fly yourself into a box canyon, you reach a certain point, after which any course you might choose ends abruptly in solid rock.

My favorite NTSB quote of all time: “Controlled Flight Into Terrain is usually an error on someone’s part.”

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but…Sean Spicer was more capable than Scaramucci. Neither one deserves a moment’s pity, though - especially not this creep.
