Discussion: Scalia, Thomas Far Likelier To Support Free Speech For Conservatives

Scalia & Thomas: Who would want to go down in history as these two jerks?
I’ll be dead and buried, but these two bozos will be ranked as among the worst in the history of the Court…

“…free speech…”

So, free speech is accepting what conservatives say, or shutting up?

As a few have mentioned, in this post, and the original NY Times story — the results are presented using the false equivalency argument. This is the most insidious trick in journalism and punditry so the media can escape the “liberal bias” tag that has worked so well for the right wing. The both sides do it reductionism just does not work — but it will continue. It is a sad state of affairs that only Jon Stewart, as a fake news commentator, has the courage to call out the hypocrisy of the right , using real facts and honest interpretations.

the five conservatives on the supreme court are ideological whores, doing their best sink our country back to the 1300s. Fuck them, they are purest of trash.

For the Insane Right Wing of the SCOTUS, it’s 99-and-44/100ths percent of how they roll. Scalia has been that way for at least 20 years, while maintaining the fiction that he’s REALLY REALLY about “Original Intent” - whatever that really means. As I said earlier, Thomas is his sockpuppet. Roberts is a Federalist Society treasonous bastard (remember his confirmation hearing pledge about stare decisis?), and Alito is no better. Kennedy vacillates between vanity and insanity.

It all depresses the shit out of me, frankly.

Oh, and I don’t believe for a minute that Scalia “erred” in his EPA decision - he just figured he’d try to brazen out his persistent lying and activism.
