…A kid who was making a simple, off-handed statement about the fat and sugar laden, gluttonous sustenance-like substance that we regularly consume here in America. It’s no different than some kid saying, “OMG! UGH, I seriously. like literally, hate my little brother. He leaves his stuff everywhere. OMG!” But I do appreciate the congressman admitting that Trump has the same heft as a 22 year old pop singer.

There are many many entertainers/celebrities I know nothing about being an old curmudgeon who’s musical taste runs to beatles, stones, bluegrass, and folk type stuff. That someone would lick donuts is nothing compared to Jim Morrison exposing himself or Pete Townshend trashing guitars on stage. And I can remember (surprisingly) quite a lot of atrocious behavior by celebs that eclipses hating America or licking donuts. And not one of those folks ran for President.

I guess if you read enough about these guys you’ll experience an epiphany. Every time I read one of these sulky bits …" how come your not slamming so and so" or “what about Clinton” I groan. That’s a childish position and the world does not owe GOP’ers a tit for tat. They’re not entitled to escape justly deserved criticism by pointing a finger at another. No adult expects that.

But…they seem to think the entire world is like them. That crap sounds good to them so they think it going to sound good to you. That’s a weakness and their opponents should exploit it. We don’t have to like broccoli because they do and we are free to like it if they don’t. We don’t have to like Trump just because they do and we don’t have to give a shit about a woman saying “I hate America” as a figure of speech and not an expression of core feeling.

We don’t have to like it their way. The world does not owe them an easy go at it. And they need to learn to take it if they’re going to dish it out.

Because Trump, Rep. Jeff Duncan and much of the GOP consider Trump a viable candidate for President of the United States. If he were just another loud mouthed bigot, he would only get one day’s worth of attention for saying what he says, but he’s not, he’s the leading candidate for the Republican Party for President.
