Honestly, I don’t get why we need a “response” from the other party. You are right – it is silly. All it does is give them a reason to spout off talking points. Nothing of real substance.

Yes, it sure does eat away at my liberty to have the president direct the federal government to clarify a description of a type of gun. Ryan was reaching … but they all are lately. Personally, I wish President Obama had done this years ago. It isn’t really that big a deal except it very well could help keep a gun or two out of the hands of a few folks who shouldn’t have them.
