Bullshit walks-action talks. Sasse, you and your Republicans in both Houses are complicit. You all sold yourselves for a tax cut for yourselves and two extreme right wing SCOTUS judges. You took an oath to protect the country and the Constitution, NOT to protect your seat in the next election! I don’t believe Sasse is one bit troubled; I’m quite certain that he, and the entire officialdom of the GOP party, authorized the NYT Op ED.
What appears to be happening is: the GOP (especially Senator McConnell) have put out the word that it is finally time to take Trump down!
But They are not going to do the awful deed. Nope.
McConnell & Co (cough-Putin-cough) will make sure that Democrats & everyday Americans do their dirty work for them.
The quisling GOP hands will be clean (lily white 
) and smell like roses, all the while they (and Fox news) will throw shit at the patriotic people (BTW: not the WH staff; they’re acting under orders) save us from the deranged malignant president.
That is what I believe, and the MSM is going to support the “patriotic republicans” ALL THE WAY. Once again, the Dem party and the American people will be the victims.
