“Sarah Palin To Appear On SNL 40th Anniversary Special”

Makes sense. SNL loves a long-running joke.

Palin will mess this up.

Why give this vile disgusting being any attention at all. What is SNL thinking?

At what point does self-parody become pathological?

Sarah Palin was the low-hanging fruit for SNL writers for quite a while, not to mention what she did for Tina Fey’s career. Makes sense to me why they’d go back to the well.

You think that her appearance on SNL gives her any sort of legitimacy, political or otherwise? It’s much more likely she’ll be the object of ridicule as always, which is exactly what she deserves.

To the degree that this gives her a chance to look like some sort of “good sport” or something, it’s a crappy idea.

If Victoria Jackson makes an appearance, why not?

Hmm, another lifeline to keep Palin “relevant”? Is this our “liberal media” at work again?

Look at me! Look at me! Don’t forget about me! I need attention!

With all those extras they could recreate the drunken Palin brawl!

She’s being brought on so that people can point and laugh at her. Palin is likely completely unaware of this.

Only if her teleprompter is broken.

Only cementing my opinion that everything after 1979 for SNL was a death spiral of mediocrity.

I likely would not have tuned in anyway, but now i’ll make sure not to.

This is old news. Everything Palin has ever done or said is comic.

She clearly thinks she is appearing on Meet The Press. Can’t tell the difference.

But, she’ll only be there for half the show!

Why bother? These pols are always stiff, and not funny at all. Their inclusion is almost always pandering, and why pander to her?

More specifically, they love to string out jokes way beyond the point where they stop being funny.
