Back when I was a kid, dad and I would sometimes take Saturday morning to go fish in the pond down the street. Maybe listen to the Red Sox on the radio. And those were fun times, of course. But what I remember most fondly were when he helped me craft misleading statements about the subject matter of my meetings with Russian spies, and then the thrill when I’d watch him and his press liasons straight-out deny it.
