Just get it over with and than get back to Vermont to continue hiding your tax returns.
Finally. Though I like the hedging of the article. He is âexpectedâ to endorse. I canât really see them doing an event together without that happening.
Though Sanders could surprise everyone and get up there, do his standard stump speech and end with:
âOh yeah, almost forgot. Please welcome Hillary Clinton.â
But I doubt it.
I have to admit itâs kind of funny reading the comments in other websites from some folk who appear to be undergoing mental breakdowns about the prospect of Bernie potentially endorsing Hillary.
The anger, disbelief, betrayal, and intense regret of last minute donations is palpable and very raw.
Itâs almost like they thought Bernie still had a chance, or that Bernie would keep it going until Election day.
I think a lot of them had truly convinced themselves that Clinton would be indicted any minute now. And of course Sanders would instantly become the nominee.
(Was going to mention Sanders riding in on a unicorn but decided that was pettyâŚWhoops.)
Finally! Now letâs all come together to kick Trumpâs a$$
Well, itâs a little earlier than Iâd have expected, but Iâm glad to see it nonetheless. Must mean the platform negotiations have plateauâd.
Bernieâs Kids would prefer he takes a page out of an Ice Breakers commercial:
âAn endorsement is standard.â
Bernie strokes his unicornâŚ
âIâm NOT standard.â
Hah! Yes this rally will take a lot ofâŚPreparation
Iâm pretty sure the final vote on the platform was either today or yesterday
But, but, butâŚthis canât possibly happen, Bernie would never endorse her because his whole object is to destroy the party from within, because he secretly wants Trump to win, because he plans to run third party, blah, blah, blah.
I wouldnât go that far but he has been a bit of a dickhead and sore loser.
I give Bernie a nod in that he did get some of his ideas into the Democrat platform. But if you go over to huf post. Some of his supporters still whining. I mean câmon Bernie got Hillary to add some of his arguments into the DEM platform. What else do you want?
These Bernie fans just like to complain unless they get a left left candidate. They are the same people who voted for Ralph Nader in 2000. I work with one. He loved Obama in 2008. Obama won now he doesnât like him. I really think they enjoy picking candidates that wonât win so they can betch about the government. If Bernie had won they would be back in 4 years complaining about Bernie.
You mean the platform thatâll be presented for ratification at the convention - I kinda expected there to be an element of âwell, weâll just hold out until the floor vote on X issueâŚâ
Come on, guys, be nice. He has good things to say, he came out of nowhere and became a major candidate, and if it werenât for so many of his followers driving me absolutely nuts I might have voted for him.
Out of nowhere?
As someone who did vote for him, right now Iâd love to see Bernie start fundraising for Hillary and the DNC, and Iâve got a great way to start:
A small donation campaign. Cap it at an individual donation of $10. For every $500 collected, Jeff Weaver gets kicked in the balls once on-camera at the convention. Because that toxic, condescending prick could use some penance.
PPP, I think youâre channeling Susan Sarandon there. And, yes, I sincerely believe she secretly wants Trump to win â so as to start that ârevolutionâ while she left the States for an extended jaunt around the world.
Yes, the revolution she will egg-on from The Mansion â while her armed guards protect her, should the rabble decide to turn her way.
