Gotta have a horse between two equal but opposite opponents, of course.
My favorite part is how the media largely ignored the Sanders campaign for most of the primary, but now at the convention they’re focused on a small minority of a minority that’s throwing a tantrum. All so they can get their drama. Very frustrating.
i think you are right. after the convention does what it has to do, the gloves come off big time. the choice will be abundantly clear. she is the real deal. trump is the phoniest BS artist around.
If you didn’t see any of the convention tonight, it was pretty amazing. Bill Clinton was perfect. Meryl Streep spoke. There were some really well done videos. There was a speech by Lauren Manning that really was - I don’t have words. She is the woman who was so badly burned on 9-11, and about the only person in her office to survive - it was one of the worst hit. She told a beautiful story about how Hillary visited her every day in the hospital - the woman should not have lived and then what she’s had to go through to have the damage repaired is mind boggling and she absolutely loves Hillary Clinton in a very personal way.
There are about 15 people there from Hillary’s 6th grade class - they have been coast to coast campaigning for her.
Hillary is just more than I ever really knew and I’m kind of stunned by it. It was all about bringing people together and Hillary has been doing that her entire career.
I think we are in for a potentially incredible administration.
Of Bill’s speech? I don’t think so. He talked about meeting her and made it clear that theirs is a long term love story - he is still in love with her.
The fact that Bill chased tail doesn’t mean he doesn’t love that woman - he does. Men are fools sometimes. He would never have left her for any of them. And I might add, Bill is the kind of guy who didn’t have to chase tail - it chased him and he was weak enough to fall for it.
On With All Due Respect tonight, there was a segment in which Bloomberg reporters had a breakfast with Bernie Sanders and asked him specifically whether he planned to campaign with Hillary. He looked a little disgruntled and said he’d probably be campaigning with (he shrugged noncommittally) maybe some local officeholder in Tulsa - “someone who doesn’t have the vast resources of the Clinton campaign” is the way he put it.
So I think he’s not making plans to join the team. He might change his mind.
Umm, I’m pretty sure that it is Bernie that is attempting to silence them.
And how about this reality, Bernie lost, their hero let them down. He got more help than any candidate in history and never got close.
It’s Bernie’s fault for losing and their own fault for over investing.
