Discussion: Sanders Spox: FBI Findings Won't Sway Decision To Stay In Race

“better candidate” in his next life MAYBE!

Ah, the tiniest flicker of hope remains.

Frankly, had she been indicted, I would want Biden. Bernie Sanders would be a horrific president.

You and everyone else - no way in hell Bernie would automatically get the nomination if something happened to her.

I’m with you = Biden would get it. Hell, I’d rather see Dennis Kucinich get the nomination before Bernie whining liar Sanders.

As per “The Berned One” himself: “The struggle continues”.

bye felicia

He’s already made it clear that he knows he’s not getting the nomination and that his goal in continuing his campaign is to influence the platform. Given that he’s never tried to make an issue of the “damn e-mails,” there was precisely no reason to believe the recommendation not to prosecute would make any difference in his decision about when to officially concede.

Not that any of this will make any difference to the terminally butthurt, severely perspective-starved Bernie haters on this site…hate on!

Of course not. If actually losing the primary didn’t sway his decision, basically nothing will.

I was gonna say…

Sanders isn’t going to let logic, reason, or the will of the voters convince him to drop out; I don’t know why this announcement would make any difference.

Sanders also insists there is too a chance Jennifer Lawrence would soooooo do him!

What a jerk! He wants the platform which doesn’t mean squat. It’s a list of goals. It’s only a feel good thing. When a president walks into the oval office reality sets in. You have to work with the House and Senate. I will never get Bernie. He is one big disappointment.

At this point, I think most people will see Bernies refusal to drop out as weird because it is.

There’s nothing for him to stay in for. He can’t get the nomination -that’s done. So it’s just weird and makes people think that their decision not to support him was the right decision.

It’s weird, Bernie.

short of Trump now pulling off a miracle, its almost over…

I don’t hate Bernie, but he looks like an old fool. Platforms don’t mean squat. They are goals. A President has to work with the House & Senate. When you lose, it’s over. Bye Bernie.

Bernie is way more into making statements than he has ever been into actually legislating any of these sweeping statements he makes.

In that regard, the party platform is perfect for Bernie - let him have it. It’s forgotten the moment the convention is over.
