Because there are more than a few people who have a broader picture here rather than fixating on ideological purity, which is supposed to be a right-wing pathology. As least that’s what liberals claim.
Is Saint Bernie, as the potential head of the Democratic Party, not going to fundraise for the DNC? Going to issue strict orders that no none get paid for anything that can utilized by the DNC to promote candidates at the local, state and national level? That as politicians, they don’t learn how to calibrate the competing interests that accompany the system?
Oh, perhaps not for the ones who are fixated on making sure their moral superiority is assured. For making sure that they can break their arms patting themselves on the back because speeches to Wall Street is the single issue upon which the entire process hinges.
It’s almost as if people want an excellent mechanic but demand he doesn’t get his hands dirty doing the work that none of you can be bothered with.

One of the potential negatives about Bernie’s competition with Hillary is that he might toss some real fuel to the Republicans who’ll be her next opponents, most likely. Think about what he’s actually done. His attacks on her are not ones that Republicans will really be able to use… they’re going to attack her for being in bed with Wall Street? Really? They’re going to go after her for Bill’s crime bill that was so non-progressive? Again, not very darned likely. He has not attacked her in ways that would increase her vulnerability to Republicans, and has supported her in some of the charges that Republicans have brought against her already, such as the emails. Some of her attacks on Bernie will be more likely to draw their fire on her, such as her taking him to task for voting against gun laws. But I can’t get very excited about Bernie’s attacks on her; IMO he’s taking care not to leave her damaged goods in any way.

If it is Trump vs Clinton we will see him hit her hard as a bought and paid for candidate. Even worse, Trump will be able to pull out his canceled checks while he smirks, she earned every last dime.

Bernie HAS given speeches to Wall Street. He hosts meetings with the big banks, gives speeches, gets campaign money, and then lies about it all. Hillary really needs to go upside his head on this.
Back up your claim, withdraw it, or be dismissed as a bullshit artist. Your choice.
