Not sure if Berman’s correct about WA state. Last I heard our Sect’y of State was still reviewing the letter. During an interview she stated,
“This is my first time in all of my years doing elections that I’ve had a winning candidate calling into question the way the election was conducted.”

She’s a Republican.

Edit: Just contacted her office and she is reviewing the request. I let the office know my opinion which is to not comply with the request. I got a live body -very nice too.

Yeah for Tom! I had called the office of the Sec of State this morning (wasn’t the first caller) and then the Bureau of Commissions, Elections and Legislation who didn’t seem to know what I was talking about.

It’s going to be a long process but we’ve got to take back Harrisburg from this GOP dominated state house!

If the data is publicly available…why can’t they just get it for themselves? It truly is that they have no regard for truth whatsoever, and the “truth” is whatever they need it to be.

So its publiclly available, is the commission going to go through the regular process of making a records request including paying for it? The letter certainly doesn’t say so.
