Discussion: Sanders Campaign Requests Recanvass Of Kentucky Primary

I say this with nothing but love in my heart for Sanders and his supporters but they all need to shut the fuck up and go away.

Why? No, seriously, why? And please, nobody answer, “Because he still can win,” or “Because he still has to try!”

It’s one(1) delegate! At the convention, there are no points awarded for finishing second. You don’t get a trophy for showing up!

Death by cuts goes both ways.

If im wrong,mea culpa

However he has to pay for that recount

With money that could have went to the Caribbean primaries or the June 7th spectacular.

Unless that bill was initially itemized by him, he will likely flunk this test,

And if clinton’s lead expands too

Go Bernie go

A recanvass is not a recount but a review of the voting totals. It is unlikely to affect the final outcome but could affect the awarding of a single delegate still up for grabs.

OMFG…a single delegate!!! Give it a rest Sanders. Learn how to wind it down, would ya? You’re misleading your supporters with this bullshit that somehow this will make some kind of difference in the end. It won’t, and you very well know it.

Samantha Bee is the true inheritor of the Jon Stewart legacy imo, so I’ll let her explain it in this video:

Too bad she’s only on a Monday, once a week.

Best case scenario for Bernie is he gains one delegate. One. And the taxpayers of Kentucky, not his campaign, foot the bill.

He’ll never call for a recount anyway as his campaign would have to pay for it, and they almost certainly don’t have that kind of money to, er, burn.

I think The Bernie is a couple handles short of a full hammer and sickle.

Recanvassing the Kentucky primary wouldn’t change a mothertrucking thing. Jeebus, Sanders. Have you lost your mind?

Because, you know, that’s going to make a difference in who the nominee is. Way to waste public funds for no reason – real progressives only want to spend money to help people, not to prop up their own self image.

US senator Sanders is a commie. Good one.

And all the chaos in the Nevada convention was over just 2 delegates.

Un-freaking-believable. So, Kentucky is going to have to spend money that could be used elsewhere for a re-canvass where the outcome of ONE delegate is at stake. And when Clinton scores blowout wins in CA and NJ in two weeks, all the ridiculous Sanders foot-stomping over this one delegate and the four NV delegates will have been for naught.
