This shouldn’t stop reporters from asking Speaker Ryan why he opposes equal protection under the law for our LGBTQ brothers and sisters and, if he does not, how he is truly different than the bigoted murderer in Orlando.
I hope his lasting legacy as Speaker is the so-called “Ryan Rule” which prevents common sense, popular legislation from passing and consequently results in the Speaker’s party falling out of power.
