Discussion: Ryan Won't Say If He Believes Trump Claim That 'Millions' Voted Illegally

“I have no way of backing that up. I have no knowledge of such things,” Ryan added when pressed. “It doesn’t matter to me. He won the election.”

Oh.
So that means whatever he says, you can’t challenge him?
Disagree with him?
Correct him?
Call him out when he’s wrong?
Not nitpick anything he does and go on TV blasting him whatever he does?

Wow. That memo probably got lost the past 8 years of the Obama presidency.

Shorter Ryan: “He won. That’s all that matters. The end justifies the means. We command you in the press to stop talking about it. Now that we see how well blatant lying works, and how malleable the media are, we’ll keep on trying that. Here, let me tell you about my fabulous Vouchercare program.”

It’s a simple question that involves the sanity and the intelligence of the person who just got elected to the most powerful office in the history of mankind. No biggie.

Paul Ryan is a giant coward.

I guess facts don’t matter to Ryan too, eh?

Ryan knows that Trump is not a legitimate President - he gets the top secret reports that prove Trump, Bannon, Manafort, and their Communist Russian buddies hacked the voting system in Ohio, Penn. Michigan, and Wisconsin and rigged the key counties in those states. Vladimir Putin and Trump know the election was rigged.

Hillary won by well over 2.1 million votes…that is THE legitimate result. The Russians weren’t able to rig all the states! Hillary could have won 79% of the US popular and still lost the electoral college…that is how the #'s stack up and they don’t lie.

The ELECTORAL COLLEGE is a rigged system… The electoral college needs to vote for Hillary over Trump.

Hillary won! Trump is an illegitimate President!

One thing I find I’m needing to unlearn is the Hollywood-sprung idea that people who compromise their integrity still have this root of it within them that can grow back in a crisis and reach full bloom once more. In real life it seems once integrity and honor are gone, they’re gone for good. I hope the instinct for raw survival is still present, though. I hope he wants his children to survive the Trump administration. Maybe that would wake him up to the road he’s taking us down. I don’t think there’s much else that can at this point.

It doesn’t matter to you if there are millions of illegal votes cast in a national election? Or it doesn’t matter to you that the President-elect is a lying, narcissistic, unqualified, intellectually inferior, couldn’t care less about the country as long as I enrich me and my family, poser?

Republicans on Obama, and claims he was born in the US, that he is a Christian: ‘I’ll take him at his word’.
Republicans on Trump, claiming millions voted illegally: “I have no way of backing that up. I have no knowledge of such things”.

Interesting that they’ll take the word of the President they despise so abundantly, over one of their own party.

“I don’t know. I’m not really focused on these things,” Ryan said during an interview that aired Sunday on CBS’ “60 Minutes” when asked about Trump’s comments. “I have no way of backing that up. I have no knowledge of such things,” Ryan added when pressed. “It doesn’t matter to me. He won the election.”

As Paul Krugman has been pointing out for years, Ryan is a total fake.

Yes! (Why didn’t I think to put it that way?)

This boy doesn’t like to tell anyone much about what he thinks about issues even when directly asked, but he sure can kiss ass and sell his soul easily enough. Never what he says, always what he does. Not leadership potential at all, which means he’ll probably be the next Prez.

There was a recent article touching on this topic, with a focus on lying.
Apparently once people start telling little lies, it’s hard to stop escalating, telling bigger lies, and more often.
Who would have guessed!
Next up—peanut butter sticks to bread.

Translation: It doesn’t matter if #fakenews gets people killed as long as it helps us politically.

but we need to have a recount since Trump has claimed that his election was fraudulent and that he isn’t the rightful President.

Trump, Ryan, and everyone agrees the election was illegitimate.

The right thing to do is to cancel the Presidential election results and hold a rerun in April. Leave everything in place until then.

Trump is right…the election is NOT legitimate!

Softball journalism!

Ask the question the correct way and force Ryan to respond:

Mr Speaker, everyone seems to agree the election was not legitimate. Do you think we should hold a rerun in April and leave everything in place until we get a legitimate President?

We know the electoral college is rigged. It is mathematically possible under the current electoral college for the loser to actual get 79% of the popular vote. That my friend is NOT what the founding fathers intended. That is a rigged election!

If millions had voted illegally, hell even thousands, he should be outraged and calling for a national surveying of votes. I suppose the “integrity” of the election only matters when you lose. He’s proven again and again that he’s just a hollow suit.
