Seriously, you guys are so fucking weak.

Another Republican, another lie, another dodge and failure to take responsibility for something their own party started. Anyone surprised this is coming from the party who claims they are all about personal responsibility? Hypocrites.

He obviously has not read Philip Bump

Why doesn’t Eddie Munster denounce the republicans, like the Whore of Babble On, who keep calling for impeachment?

The internal GOTP polling numbers on impeachment must be horrid.

Come on, that was Obama’s fault–he made him say it. He’s so lawless he doesn’t even respect the laws against using mind control!

SIDENOTE: Paul Ryan, when he says this the next time he says it, will sing it in his best Chris Issak imitation. Swooning will ensue.

Not weak, evil!!!

And this behavior should scare every sane individual.

For months the Republican party and party members have been talking about impeaching the president and now Republican officials are saying no, it was the Obama administration who started the whole impeachment thing.

These people are evil!!!

Scary!!!

Now, now, he didn’t actually use the word “impeach.” He merely accused Obama of impeachable offenses. It doesn’t count as 'laying the groundwork" unless you actually specifically use the word “impeach” (okay, “impeachment” may also count, though Critics Say passive voice impeachment threats also don’t count.).

Are these fuckers aware that the technology currently exists that allows us to go back and see what they said and when they said it?

We have YouTube. We have media accounts. We have audio recordings. We have transcripts. We. Know. What. You. Said. And. When. You. Said. It.

This is absolute insanity – even by GOP standards.

The infuriating thing here is that in 2015 when they’re holding impeachment hearings based on the Troubling New Facts they Just Now Discovered, they won’t pay any price for these lies among the press corpse asshats.

Today’s talking points from the bubble: What…impeachment…huh…

Fortunately for Republicons, …we don’t think they’re playing stupid or their talking points would be ridiculous.

I really loath this skinny pencil neck geek! Do he and his cohorts think people are stupid enough to believe that they didn’t start the impeachment talk? That’s a lot of G#*DA@N nerve!

Forgive me if I’m wrong but haven’t a number of House Republicans used the “I” work in the past few months? I’m trying to grasp how this is attributable to Obama.

Besides I don’t see how Obama has much time to do everything he’s being blame for these days, there are only 24 hours in a day and seven days in a week after all. To be pulling the all the malodorous levers the GOTP accuses him of pulling the man would need to have several clones.

You hit the nail on the head. They lie so blatantly, consistently and shamelessly because they pay no price for it. Or if anyone in the mainstream press does bring up their dishonesty, they’re required to cherry pick something a Democrat once said that might not have been completely accurate and promote that in the name of “balance” and proof that “both sides do it.”

Until the truth starts to matter again, this country is completely fucked.
