Discussion: Ryan: I'm 'Fine' With Trump Voter Fraud Probe Despite Not Having Any Evidence

Of course , Ryan is fine with the probe. That is because he lacks the balls or courage to confront Trump.Wimpish behavior is his MO.

Sure you do you slimy snake!

One thing for sure, this “probe” has better transparent if it happens!

But I’d rather for Trump to be investigated on his relationship with Putin and associates.

This is the reason for his call for a probe. Steve Bannon’s ( the slovenly Lenninist ) fingerprints are all over this. This will allow the Trumpsters the opportunity to impose as many Jim Crow restrictions as possible to limit African-American and Latinos from voting. The alt right must be saluting Bannon tonight for his dedication to their cause.

I always read TCN’s name wrong, too. For some reason, I see “woman” instead of newman.

Mr. Trump is showing himself to be an incorrigible little boy with small hands in a paunchy old man’s body! Once upon a time, mental maturity was a required qualification for the office of POTUS! Will it even make a comeback? Or is it a pipe dream?

$20 or $30 Million to help falsely justify more voter suppression - yeah, I’m fine with that.

I expect that if something like this happens, their next step is to create Sanctuary Districts.

I wish I was joking about that. Usually people take away the need to deal with something before they become dystopias. The Republicans seem to believe that dystopian society is a good thing.

If I ever see this smug POS in person I will not withhold my spit.

Forget Trump, he’s a certain failure. Our laser focus should be entirely on the un-American GOP leaders Ryan and McConnell. Get them out of office by hounding their districts. Too far away for me (I’m in CA), but if I was anywhere near their districts I’d be swamping their constituent meetings and flooding the local newspapers. This should be priority #1.

Destroy the GOP for they are both enabling Trump and enacting America-destroying laws.

Hey, in addition to Tiffany Trump and Steve Bannon, Steven Mnuchin is registered to vote in two states per CNN:

I just want to say, thank god for TPM! I felt so low since the election. I am very grateful to be able to come here and read such funny and smart thoughts and musings. And dish a bit out too. My spirits really have lifted! Thanks so much TPM and all the wise posters…

OF COURSE Ryan is “fine” with Trump investigating alleged voter fraud.

Every time the media reinforce the idea of rampant “Voter Fraud” serves Ryan’s (and the GOP’s) narrative, and their long-term election strategy.

This is particularly true in an era when demographic changes (like America’s coming status as a “Majority minority” nation, and the fact that the GOP is primarily a party of a shrinking older, rural & religious white population) does not necessarily hold the promise of future electoral success for Ryan’s party.

So the more people believe Trump’s nonsense claiming that “voter fraud” allowed millions to illegally vote in 2016, the easier it will be for Ryan & the GOP to continue to build on the Supreme Court decision in “Shelby County v. Holder” (2013) rolling back many protections from the Voting RIghts Act (1965) and returning, as much as possible, to the days when the individual states erected barriers that prevented people of color from voting.

Except now, the barriers (including Voter I.D., reduced voting hours & fewer polling places in densely populated Democratic urban strongholds, as well as purging voter registration rolls, and limiting or prohibiting same-day registration) also impact on voting by younger voters, middle class voters, and urban white voters.

So from Ryan’s POV, bring on the Voter Fraud Investigation!! All the easier to dis-enfranchise urban, younger and minority voters, who tend to vote for Democratic candidates.

While it is illegal to cast ballots in multiple states, it is not illegal to be registered in two states at the same time.

Dear Santa

You don’t know me, but i started believing in you, this previous year.

I know my compuys probably think that nothing will come from this, but i just want to see/hear Spicer’s reaction, when he finds out that either a cabinet official or a WH staffer not only are registered in two states, but they voted in both of em (at the same time).

Ty

Sincerely

Aaron
