Discussion: Ryan Desperately Tries To Hold Together GOP Fractured By Immigration

“We’ve got the rule of law in this country, and nobody gets special consideration,” said Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus.

Except presidents named Donald J. Trump, members of his Cabinet, his political appointees, and as many other Republicans as possible who need that special consideration (as long as they support Trump).

“There’s some loose consensus right now,” said Rep. Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla., a leader of centrists threatening to force votes if they can’t strike a deal with conservatives. He said leaders would unveil “an outline of a potential bill,” while conservative leader Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., said Ryan would present “concepts.”,

later in the day a vote to end Obamacare will be held…

And in other news, Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.

The division is between the rabid racists who can’t stand anyone who doesn’t look like them and the pragmatic racists who want to make money off anyone.

Those are words I always like to see used in the same sentence: GOP, Desperately, and Fractured.

Bullshit. People get special consideration all the time in this country … if they’re white and wealthy.

Going from the Disloyal Opposition to “governance”, and having to come up with real solutions and not just carping is a real b*tch, ain’t it Paul?

It’d be nice if we had some Dem congress-people that knew how to play hardball. This’d be a good time to run the republican’s favorite ‘Argue the ACA for years, extract a bunch of compromises, and then don’t vote for it anyway’ play.

If they’re drowning & flailing, toss 'em an anchor…

He’s getting nailed for cooperating with the DOJ. THAT, he won’t survive.

And, Paul Ryan received Social Security benefits after his 55-year-old father passed away from a heart attack. He was 16 years old.

If The Freedom Cockus wants to do something about illegal immigrants taking jobs from Americans, it can start by finding all the undocumented workers at Drumpf’s golf courses and hotels. That should keep ICE busy for a few years.

If he could only get the pro-business and pro-deathcamp factions on the same page.
