First responders were a struggle. Helping bond manager widows was a priority.
If you want to hear more about this the interview with Ken Feinberg is incredible. Someone said of him: “if we ever start cloning people, we should start wth Ken Feinberg.”
He met with all the surviving families to get them their money. It was brutal. The stories are incredible. He shelves entirely if the govt should have paid at all. It’s odd that they did it, really.

Unfortunately, they see disasters in locations full of non-white/Democratic voting persons as “opportunities” to come in AFTER the fact and impose their “free market” extremist policies on the devastated areas and help remake the areas in their “whiter” vision.
