Discussion: Ryan: Allegations Against Moore Are 'Credible' And He Should Withdraw

And here’s Paul Ryan with his finger in the wind again. He’s a waste of skin.

It’s obvious that Republicans have know about this for a long time. That would explain why they went all in for Luther Strange all the way up to the President. Something they haven’t done in any other race for the past few years. And it explains why McConnell said that Moore should resign when these allegations had first been made public, instead of his usual weasel words.

Either they’re aware of some really bad poll numbers on Moore, or they’re aware of some new allegations that will be revealed soon… (Because the GOP doing the right thing because it’s the right thing isn’t an option for them.)

And the difference between Moore’s accusers and Trump’s accusers is …

Is …

Is …

Well??!!

ETA: Speaking of which …

And now, if Moore somehow DOES get seated, he will take revenge. Bigly. Article in WaPo about how they could seat Sessions instead, then have the moron appoint new AG who could throw out entire Mueller case.

And now Ryan. I dont know if this b/c they dont want moore or that they want sessions to be reappointed so that it clears the AG post and gives way for trump to hire someone who will fire mueller…

Am i grasping?

Go on, Paul and telll Roy exactly how you feel: your thoughts and prayers are with him at this dark moment in his life.

“He should step aside face multiple counts of child molestation and attempted rape.”

Fixed.

Fun Fact: The GOP calls itself “The Law And Order Party”.

I doubt there’s a serious concerted effort to fire Mueller. They’re not all stupid and they must know it would only delay and perhaps even hasten the inevitable. They don’t know what to do. And I don’t blame them.

Sessions has said he won’t go back to being Senator.

Too bad his dream job has turned out to be a nightmare

Nightmare is for us. Remember that horrible grin he had during the presser about DACA?

Trump’s better at establishing dominance politics on a national stage before the accusations come out.

Coming out this quickly … on the leading edge of all political leaders … to ask Moore to step aside: Paul Ryan has proven yet again that he is a living profile in courage.

I am not sure about that, at least at the national level. They went in for Strange, because its crystal clear that Moore would be nothing but a noisy thorn in the side of the GOP…many times worse than Cruz…and they wanted to avoid that.

I do believe, however, they did some background checking up over the weekend, and it confirmed everything and much more. Particularly the much more part. They know this doesn’t stop at 5 girls accusing him. And it hasn’t. Now there is the yearbook. And the mall banning him. There will be even more by Friday.

They heard/saw the background reports and said…“We are out”

Number two, if he cares about the values and the people he claims to care about, then he should step aside.

I suggest we apply that standard across the entire House, Senate and Executive branch. Congressional quorums consisting of 100% Democrats until elections to fill the myriad vacancies and the new Democratic Speaker acting as president.
