Discussion for article #237326
No, Rumsfeld was trying desperately to “Blame Obama” for Iraq and avoid taking one iota of blame for himself all the while lying through his teeth!
Die!
That is all.
In other words the neocons really didn’t care about Iraq because it was all about oil and Israel.
Rummy should be happy to avoid Hastert’s courthouse scrum but I do understand his whine after all he came to the interview with the brain he has not the brain his fluffers hoped he had. You know, you compromise your principles at an early age, kiss the most disgusting. pimply ass imaginable and instead of being pampered from one corporate board to another amid bought and paid for cries of genius someone stops the merry-go-round with a few pesky, henny penny facts and suddenly you’re a bad guy instead of a loveable Earth shoe-wearing curmudgeon. Well, gosh darnit!
I wonder if anyone in that admin knew the definition of morals or ethics…cause if they did they got a hold to a completely different dictionary than I had …must have been published by the same people that publishes anything Mann coulter writes
Of course those comments weren’t anti-Bush, they were anti-American because, as we’ve long known, he will lie to the American people if it supports his personal agenda. Rumsfeld should be in jail, why he’s getting any media exposure beyond a video showing him being handcuffed and led to the back of a police car is beyond me.
When Rummy was asked by a soldier about the failure to up armor equipment leaving them with “hillbilly armor” he said
“You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time,”
What he really meant was you go to war with the commander in chief you have, because unlike his predecessors he’s the one who wanted this war as did Rummy, Cheney et al
His remarks were a recognition of reality. Now if reality is anti-Bush…
'zackly.
I mean without Jr. where would Dick and I be? Now we have a chance to try again and we are all game.
… and to have what replaced Saddam Hussein be a government that would not have weapons of mass destruction, that would not invade its neighbors, and that would be reasonably respectful of diverse ethnic groups – meaning the Sunni, the Shia, the Kurds …
Yeah, how’d that work out for you, Rummy?
Unless your next five words are “I’m flying to the Hague,” then kindly STFU.
Well, that spoils my “Fuck off and die” plans.
“In other words, I did not say what I said.”
I heard his recent comments. If they weren’t “anti-Bush” I don’t know how you would characterize them.
Maybe he was talking about GHW Bush or maybe JEB Bush.
