Discussion: Rubio: Trump Doesn't Understand The Issues He's Talking About

Of course it depends on the context but if you’re talking about sensing and exploiting vulnerability—something the Mean Girl tweens and schoolyard bullyboys excel at—that doesn’t necessarily go along with the higher-order stuff like verbal ability, math ability, reasoning skill, all that.

Well I don’t know, Donald started ignoring Carly and we haven’t heard from her since …now he says that he is done punching down at Jeb!. He could be (oh, the horror) learning.

If he does, he needs to focus on Rubio running from his immigration plan. He needs to tread carefully on anything else that’s related to the subject.

neoRubio is fat, lazy, and flat-footed.

Gotta love the contemporary GOP: A bunch of stupid people making statements on who is stupid.

I’ve always felt he has a porcine look about him.

Trump understands you are thirsty and you s sweat a lot. That’s the issue.

Well, bear in mind it’s not necessarily Rubio himself coming up with this - there’s a whole industry of political consultants dedicated to this stuff, and presumably Rubio has some as strategists advising him on what to say to undermine Trump. Which just makes Bush’s consistent incompetence all the more striking.

Hang on - what is that chryon at the bottom about? It says"…ent says his wife would stop bad things happening in Natl Securi…" WTF??

Trump makes shit up off the cuff and blurts it out.
Rubio only says exactly what his campaign contributors tell him to say. That’s much, much better (NOT.)

Schooled!

…by the schoolkid.

I can agree with your first sentence — But Trump “treading carefully” on anything ? ? –

Surely you jest ! —

It is patently obvious that drumphie does not have a clue but I would ask …DO YOU MARCO?

That’s an excellent point, and of course you’d figure Jebbers is the type to have consultants dripping from the chandeliers. But at some point you have to understand and apply the advice you’re getting. And that’s assuming you’re getting it in the first place. What percentage of consultants have nothing valuable to say? I’ve seen some damn worthless ones in my own travels get some pretty fancy fees just for talking a good game. Trump is something new in the political world and a consultant who really knows how to counteract him would be pretty good at the job.

Ran the previous statement on an assumption that I’m keeping to myself for now.

Not sure yet, but at last check my name isn’t Shirley :relaxed:

Ha ha — How did I know that was forthcoming ? —

Damn it ! — Thought I was the only one that knew the Dump had fuzzy slippers —

Look who’s calling the kettle black. Dumbass.

Because that’s how the media rolls these days: It’s only a news scandal when a Democrat lies or a Republican tells the truth.

The ability of the conservative movement to position opponents is their great art.

Of course, in practicality, that means turning the truth into a lie.

Coming from Cottonmouth Marco, that’s gotta hurt.
