He wasn’t a full-term senator last time around, so why is this news?

They’re only in session 124 days so it’s not a full time job. Why quit. My guess is he’ll be the next generation’s John McCain, staying long past the sell date.

No one can make that commitment because you don’t know what the future’s gonna hold in your life personally or politically,” Rubio said.

That's patently false. Rubio could say "The only reason I will not serve a full six year term is if I either die in office or suffer injury or disease that incapacitates me."

There. Done.

Wow - “fully prepared to allow” - not exactly a “blood, toil, tears and sweat” kind of claim.

Murphy should only run one maybe two ads. One is where Rubio talks about how he hates the Senate and that he may not serve the term…HE DOES NOT WANT TO REPRESENT YOU.

second ad is making women carry rape or Zika babies

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) hedged his bets on what his political future may
hold in a Tuesday interview with CNN, saying he just wasn’t sure if he
would be able to stay in office for a full six-year Senate term if
re-elected.“No one can make that commitment because you don’t know what the future’s
gonna hold in your life personally or politically,” Rubio said.

Then why are you running if you cannot make the commitment?

This is the ultimate wimp-out. He might as well say he might not stay in the contest until election day, 'cause you know people could get hit by buses.

He’s simply saying, “Hillary is going to win, and I’m going to run against her in 2020. We all know it, so why are you asking these gotcha questions?”

Just a temporary holding place until something better comes along.

This says everything you need to know about how this empty-suited slacker views his career vs. how he views service to his constituents. Of course, we already knew it, but it’s kind of amazing he would explicitly dispel with this notion that he’s committed to the very office he seeks at the moment. Wake up, Florida!

this time, he’s warning folks (namely Fla voters)

Would I be too hopeful to think Little Marco is afraid of losing the Florida Senate race?

RCP still has him up by 5.7.

Polls don’t make sense until the nominees are known.

Remember how Bernie was a better opponent to Trump?

“I can commit to you this, and that is that if I am running to be a U.S. senator, I am fully prepared to allow the U.S. Senate to be the last political office I ever hold,” he said.

“And did I tell you that my vision is 2020; 2020, I tell you. And did I tell you that I will have my vision checked again in 2020; and I’m certain it will still be 2020. And by the way, did I tell you that my new website is Marco2020.com where I will regale all with my 2020 vision.”
