This is why I stopped watching Sunday AM political TV during Dotard 1.0ās first term. And I had only just started watching it, having finished school, started my first job, gotten married and all, thinking it was the thing adults living on the US mainland ought to do. I envy my Puerto Rican compatriots, at least the ones who, in the pre CNN availability era, lived in blissful ignorance of this tradition.

This is getting oldā¦ the question to ask should be: āIf trump was impeached would you vote for his conviction?ā. The answer we all know is no. But Rubio, Graham, Sasse and others keep drawing lines on Trump behavior and then rush to defend him once he crosses those lines. Nobody thatās not a hard core partisan believes any of those clowns have the spine to cross Trump.

Absolutely - Iām an old lady. My generation was largely raised by immigrant parents who thought it was our responsibility to sort out facts, take stands on important issues, be involved in local politics, etc. We read newspapers and watched Meet the Press and Face the Nation as part of that education. I donāt expect that time to return, but my greatest sources of worry are young people too busy or skeptical of the process to vote and Americans who donāt seek any corroboration for what they want to believe is true.

DTs already up to his eyeballs in actionable allegations of obstruction and abuse of power. How pardoning Paulie will qualitatively change that with his tools in the Senate in is anybodyās guess, though, for many, Iād say not much. Presidential prerogatives for a GOP POTUS and what not, ya know.
For DT, though, I gotta think heās already in for a everything heās got, so it aināt gonna make a whole lotta difference if he calls on another roundā¦
On the bright side, however, Mueller may have no need for whatever it was Manafort mightāve told him, so itāll just be another charge in the articles of impeachment, forthcoming indictment, or what have you.
And for Paulie, well, thereās still state level chargesā¦

If Iām not mistaken Manafort has been charged with crimes in VA, so while Federal crimes could be pardoned, states crimes cannot. We can also expect to see talk from moron about pardoning himself.

Whatās the fine or jail time for tossing rotten fruit over the White House fence? Cuz thatās what I would be moved to endure (the fine or jail time that is) should trump attempt to pardon himself.
