Given the very strong preference poll respondents have expressed for “outsider” candidates, no matter how flawed, Trump doesn’t need to get personal – not immediately, anyway. He can just lump Rubio in with all those insiders: “Jeb and Rubio and Rand Paul and those guys creep out of DC and their offices every election season to smooth-talk you into thinking they will get something done for you if you give them another chance.” He can then deal with the “not well informed on the issues” by hitting Rubio on immigration. Then go personal.
