Discussion: Roger Stone Posts, Deletes Swastika-Filled Image Of Trump Crew

Because I was a fan 40 years ago when I was in college, and read one of those “inside the making of” books. So I could be mistaken, but it was one of the things that stuck. Luckily the lyrics to the original theme song were not in that category.

(Another thing that stuck: a tale that at some point during filming Walter Koenig refused to push a particular sequence of buttons because it would blow up the ship. Which today seems perfectly reasonable to me.)

I had seen this image…but I don’t think it had the swastikas on it. It was released last week after pence’s BS announcement. I kinda think the Swastika Space Force logo was added after, but I could be wrong. Either way, this image was created to make fun of this crapfest administration.

I think stone just saw it as a cool image of himself as an astronaut…then someone pointed out that it had swastikas on it.

Of course, he is probably blind to swastikas as a bad thing.

Also true, but, and INAL, if defence council could prove that Omarosa was the original source, they could potentially use her lack of credibility to poison the evidence chain. Fruit of the poison tree and all that.

Or not. Like I said, INAL. But really, I’m all for anything that let’s us see that whole rotten bunch frog marched out of the White House. I’m not even American and the thought of Trump sitting at the Resolute Desk acting like he deserves to be there disgusts me.

Now you’re just trying to make all of us here envious.

It was the late 1960’s, so there’s a good chance he got hold of some bad acid and thought the pretty candy coloured lights were actually connected to something and he was piloting a real ship.

Close, but the Gamesters of Triskelion hit that true low point for me. In hindsight, it is artistically far below the LIS “The Geat Vegetable Rebellion”.

It can certainly get you strapped to a gurney in a Red Cross medical tent in the middle of a Rolling Stones concert. Then your buddies will have to free you because they know it wasn’t bad stuff, you’re always just dropping too much at once, but you eventually come back to planet Earth and enjoy the jams. So leave the guy alone, will you!!?? Geez!!

For me, it’s a toss up between Spock’s Brain and The Mark of Gideon.

Come on, they build an entire Enterprise replica just to keep Kirk occupied for a few hours, hoping he’ll fall in love with a (soon to be dead) stranger enough to sacrifice the rest of his life? Which they plan on making him do regardless?

And a society so dedicated to “life” that they won’t use birth control to address over-population but will introduce a deadly disease to kill adults? OK, yeah, that’s no different from the anti-abortion zealots, but it still makes no sense.

And for Lost in Space, c’mon, how can you not like giant talking carrots and broccoli?

It’s possible. My guess is that it was his way of saying to the director something like “I am the actor who created this role and made this stupid prop believable. I’ve spent hundreds of hours sitting in this %^&#$$%&^ chair pressing these buttons, so kindly do not waltz in and micromanage how I do it.”

Trump Reality Show in the making. He will change “You’re Fired!” to “A Pox on thee!” Each week, one person is tossed into a box with bubonic infected fleas.

In hindsight yes, but the tapes were to allow Nixon - who was a control freak - to have a perfect ability to remember who said what. Nixon never thought that the existence of tapes would be found out, and in fact nearly was not.

Nixon’s ability to keep a secret was very different than the current keystone cop version of Republicans.

You’d have to ask her. I have no idea.

Like I said, it was artistically sound. We just didn’t catch the hammer head of allegory in the script the way they wanted us to.
