I’m hoping Josh or someone will look into the “supporters” and their carefully made “signs” . . . My bet is they’re paid or they’re personal friends. I don’t see this as regular people coming out to support this guy. He’s got the media savvy to do this. My guess is the supporters are — like many of the Trump “crowds” are paid.

I don’t even know what YSA stands for, so probably not. To your larger point, however, Young Republicans aren’t the only dweebs - the Society for Creative Anachronism, for example, is a widely recognized as dweeb central, but they are more than welcome to let that particular freak flag fly if that’s what makes them happy. But, in my experience, YRs bring a mix of weaselness and dweebiness that makes them particularly unpalatable.

Except that nothing could have been more useless at an arraignment than a crowd of supporters cause the court doesn’t give a shit. The public doesn’t matter once someone is charged with a crime = public pressure has no affect on courts and it shouldn’t have.

My guess is that that photo is from the early morning Florida raid/arrest where he was rousted out and dressed hastily and was characterized as appearing “disheveled”

It is a little known fact that Roger Stone co-starred with the great Jessica Lange in the 2nd and 4th seasons of “American Horror Story” (well, actually, the character of Pepper was portrayed by the wonderful actress Naomi Grossman, but you have to admit the resemblance to Stone is fairly remarkable):
