Speaker Ryan has no choice here. He will support the presumptive nominee and chair the convention. My guess is that this will happen within a week. It might take a little longer. Mr. Trump will offer few concessions and emerge as Republican Number 1.
Democrats, especially insurgent Democrats, should take notice.
Priebus sounds like a hostage in that tweet. Either that or he had one of his “special” bowls of cereal this morning.
Does the GOP really want to unite around Trump? Seriously? If anything, they should unite against him, lose this election, but at least gain some respect that could help them longer term. As much as I think the current crop of Tea Partiers are lunatics, the country needs a sane GOP, and by ditching Trump, maybe they can make the first big step in that direction.

Because that’s what’s important here…GOP unity. The country’s best interests, however, not so much.

The RCN spox stated that no note was smuggled out of the meeting between the Speaker and Donald Trump. He added that if a note existed it, it did not say “Send lawyers, guns, and money. Get me out of this.(signed) A Desperate Man”

It remains to be seen how far out on a limb rAyn will go for trumpf who lost Wisconsin the primaries and if I’m not mistaken lost Janesville, rAyn’s home town. So, the question is, who does he want to piss off, trumpf or the people who can actually return him to the House.

Last I heard, a Talk Radio host named Sykes is still very influential in WI with anti-Trump fervor.
As much I don’t like what republicans stand for, Sykes is one guy I can admire because he seems to be pretty fearless in going after trumpf. This is what’s on his Twitter feed dated May 10.
