No, Lindsay, Republicans James Comey and Jason Chaffetz politicized intelligence ten days before the election. Devin Nunes politicized intelligence. The current DHS chief and Senate intelligence committee chief who went out and defended Donald Trump in February, THEY politicized intelligence. Lindsay Graham, a mediocrity from a safely Red state, owes his position on committees totally to his ceremonial rank of Colonel in the South Carolina Army Reserve. Another GOP chickenhawk who is all in on politicizing intelligence, projecting as the Republicans always do.

That, after all IS “The Plan” and has been since 1973 when “competent government employees” along with “non-partisan elected officials” were instrumental in forcing Nixon out of office.
The Trump Administration is just the logical conclusion of that long-sought-after policy of; “Government of the Wealthy, for the Wealthy, by the Wealthy.”

Question: what if she testified and repeatedly answered questions with, “Senator, my answer to that would require revelation of items determined to be Classified.” Then, depending on who it is, “I would be pleased to answer that before a closed session of the Senate Intelligence Committee for those senators who have the appropriate level of clearance.” A not-so-subtle reminder that this is, after all, an inquiry into whether or not she leaked and that not every Senator is entitled to the same level of info.
One of my nearest and dearest, a post-9/11 hire, does it for love of country. They have a specific skill set that benefits us all and it would be a shame if they left government service due to “downsizing” or continued lack of appropriate pay. [They make about the same amount of $ now as when hired, adjusting for inflation.] They could and would be hired in the private sector in a nanosecond for so much more, but continues on because…USA.
