Discussion: Reuters: FBI Believes Foreign Hackers Targeted Dem Officials' Cellphones

He hired Liberace’s Interior Decorator, and Hair Stylist.

I’ve seen many interiors of the homes of the rich. Some were beautiful and amazing, and I’ve wished I could live there. Others were not to my taste. However, I don’t think I’ve ever seen interiors I’ve more wanted to bulldoze than that of Trump. In my opinion, his apartment would have to be gutted to the studs.

In addition to the huge cost to our economy of his ridiculous policies, in four years we’d have the added expense of having to restore the White House to some degree of decorative dignity.

just imagine the volume of the nutjob fever swamp if a foreign state had repeatedly targeted trump with hacks. it would be like BENGHAZI on a truckload of steroids. there would be screams of “traitor” and calls for conviction (investigation not necessary) and hangings.

but since it’s dems being repeatedly hacked by foreign state actors, and non-allies, at that? crickets. actually, not crickets … enthusiastic cheers.

More like Ferrengi.

I doubt the Russians “initiated” the hacks. I am willing to bet that the Russians, as well as the US, are simply the “open market” for such materials, like a pawn broker or drug dealer, whatever. There is a market for such and anyone successfully extracting such material looks to gain quite a bit of money, rubles or dollars.

As a side note, anyone who thinks “voting machines” are invulnerable, I’ve got a bridge to sell them. There is no “chain of custody” when it comes to voting machines, even those with firmware hacks. The hard part is to do it in such a manner so as to not raise too much suspicion.

This is not a conspiracy theory, it is demonstrated every time at various and sundry “hacker’s conventions”.

The only solution I see is manually counting paper ballots, while vulnerable to errors itself, the process pretty much is audit-able, repeatable and generally only subject to human error and not deliberate manipulation.

I doubt the taxpayer would have to worry about “restoring” the WH, as Trump would find a way for the taxpayer to pay for the garishness, but also pay for the removal of such to Trump properties, so as to show such trinkets to the public for a fee. Though I am not an accountant, I can think of several “legal” ways to do this.

As opposed to a 300 pound guy running for president urging foreign governments hack into the opposition.
