There’s no hope for this state. I need to move. It’s a good thing I bought my alcohol before today because SC is the last state that prohibits alcohol sales on election day. So backwards. I can’t take it anymore.

South Carolinians have to be the stupidest voters in the universe. Is there any other state who would send their ex-Governor, missing in action while conducting an affair with his Argentinian mistress, stalker husband, to the House?
Whatever it is in South Carolina water, please don’t send it to North Carolina. At least our Republicans are somewhat respectable, meaning that they would sell their soul to the company store, not some foreign lady in waiting.

Yes. That was embarrassing. But, Sanford comes from a ridiculously gerrymandered district. It includes all of the beach communities from Hilton Head to north of Charleston. Yet, half of Charleston (I’ll let you guess which half) is another district.
The really sad thing is the Bible thumpers in this state are okay with Sanford. Just as long as there’s an R by the name they are good “God Fearing” people. Even if they do leave the country without telling anyone so they can have sex with their mistress.
