Hiring a lawyer to change up the PR side (which…why are lawyers running the PR operation anyway??) is an incredibly shallow strategy to me. My understanding is Kasowitz is more of a business/real estate litigator/attorney, with very little experience on this side of things. I know its not a huge portion of the legal profession, but hiring a Constitutional lawyer or two seems like a much more sound legal strategy.
And as @steviedee111 pointed out, hiring anyone to manage Trump’s twitter habits is a fool’s errand.
“According to Bloomberg, which broke the Cobb story, top administrators are bringing Cobb into the mix because they want someone to enforce discipline in the White House on matters related to the Russian investigation.”
Well this should be entertaining. I do not think it is possible to “enforce discipline” on this crowd.
And Cobb is starting at the end of the month… 2+ weeks is plenty of time to do an incredible amount of PR/legal damage.
Top administrators are bringing a leather clad dominatrix named Ms. BeatenDaTar into the mix because they want someone to enforce discipline on the President, who is known for ranting on Twitter about needing to be whipped by a real professional.
Why, why would he take the job at all? And to do PR? does he think that making ludicrous arguments in public is going to be any easier on his reputation than making ludicrous arguments in court? and giving his client a two-week head start to make more messes to clean up?
I just don’t get it. maybe this is why I don’t have a vacation home or a boat. I lack the killer instinct.
We know by now trumPP doesn’t listen to lawyers. The minute they leave the room after having given him sound advice, which probably included “STFU and stay that way”, he brings his thumbs out and spews.
