You have to figure it could be about anything Putin wants. I’ve read they’re concerned simply by the fallout from the Helsinki visit and how hot it is right now. It could be sanctions, or it could be that somehow Putin thinks protests could be avoided. The only thing I know is right now it doesn’t look like the appropriate conditions will be created while this is still recognizably the country we were born in.
