I’m still waiting for any evidence that he’s done anything with that foreign policy portfolio other than to figure out how he can manage it to benefit Jared Kushner, as opposed to any one or anything else.

Only if its actually revoked. And the evidence points to it not being.

First the WH report. Its impossible for someone without this security clearance to be the top man running the Israel-Palestine peace talks. Not just difficult…impossible. The same can probably be said about reset of his “portfolio” as well.

Second, Ivanka would be in the same boat. Yet she just went to South Korea over the weekend to give a private briefing to their leaders on our strategies of the region. Again…completely impossible without high level security clearance.

I believe we are being gaslighted here, in a very big way. This is just so much window dressing, probably insisted upon by Kelly, that the WH has zero intention of actually doing.

And he still has his clearance, too. Even though, of course, he doesn’t actually read it or understand what he’s told from it.

I want to think this man has some brains about him, but it really is hard to convince myself when he is such demonstrable dunce.

Kelly says it won’t impede his ability to improve relations with Mexico and negotiate peace in the Middle East, which kinda tells you how much priority those issues have.

This raises a good question: How would we know if Kushner’s downgrade is actually real? Any way to verify it?

I don’t disagree, but I do think that if Jarvanka continues to have access to all the classified information they’ve had until now, it’s important evidence of yet more corruption in the maladministration. The hard nutty centre of Drumph’s support won’t care, but maybe a some more reasonable R’s will back away.
