ManâŚthese people are amazing. Not even an attempt at an apology or admitting that they were even a little bit off base (nevermind entirely wrong). And they want jump right back and get a seat at the table.
This woman should be so thoroughly scorned that she should be afraid to show her face in public. But here she is, perkily yelling âMulligan!â and cheerleading for another war.
I donât think they realize just how strongly the polls are going to show that Americans want no part of the situation in Iraq. And no amount of cheerleading on Fox is going to nudge it.

I met Judy Miller once when I was an intern for a non-profit heavily financed by military contractors and the energy industry. She came in to do a story on our organization for the New York Times. I met her in the lobby and kept her company as her main interview was running late. She shook my hand, leaned in and whispered in my ear, âDonât worry. Iâm on your guyâs side.â It was weird, because ostensibly our organization didnât have a âsideâ and ostensibly she was there as a journalist for the paper of record. True story.
