The vast majority of American “journalists” are easily intimidated by bullies. Even worse, they don’t even believe it’s their job to get at the truth—they see their job as glorified stenography, and that’s all they aspire to. Without access, stenography is impossible, so CNN will soon roll over on its back, piddle in the air, and beg for restored access.

I think if this were the Obama administration they would take that stand.

I don’t get why Twitler is so mad at CNN. They bent over backwards for him during the election. They provided free infomercials for the campaign. They even hired his inside man as an on-air political consultant. I really don’t get why CNN is being singled out.
Whatever the reason, they are being cowardly and petty with this move. If they were so confident in their agenda it doesn’t matter where they send their spokesperson… I do agree it’s a show of dominance. How CNN reacts to this will set the mood for the next 4 years - not only for them but for ALL the networks. I believe CNN should stand their ground but frankly I’m not holding my breath
