Discussion for article #223707
But since they appointed themselves to be judge, jury, and executioner, the killers were actually MORE in charge than elected officials and soâto kill the people in chargeâthey had to kill themselves?
They donât appear to have been very good at turning their grandiose terrorist concepts into concrete plans. Fortunately for all but the three people they did manage to kill.
Classic teaparty ammosexuals: terrorists, gun fetishists, anti-government, and pro-murder.
Anybody know how that âtake-overâ is working out for them?

Clearly fans of the Turner Diaries.
Umm they failed at taking over a Walmart, how could they takeover a courthouse full of armed and trained officers of the law?
The newspaper reported Monday that a box containing those plans was confiscated from the apartment of a neighbor of Jerad and Amanda Miller, who were identified as the shooters by law enforcement on Monday.
It sounds to me like the police need to be investigating this neighbor. Why in the world did they have these plans in their possession? And, most importantly, why didnât they call the police when they not only heard him talk about planning to kill people, but also had written out a plan of attack? Were these people in on the plan but backed out? Something fishy here.
How the hell does the neighbor come to have this, and not report something? This smells, and I expect more weirdness to come out of this.
They were planning to do this on a Sunday, when the courthouse was closed and all of their targets werenât working. Smart.
Where is the NSA when you need it?
Both of these a*holes were active members at Alex Jones conspiracy camp InfoWars. Jared even posted a screed to the message board about possibly killing cops back in 2012.

Some plan.
I hope the other Bundy âmilitiaâ members are shitting in their pants right now.
The NSA targets non-domestic communications. Moron.
Clark County assistant sheriff Kevin McMahill said during a Monday press
conference that authorities believed the attack was âan isolated
incident.â
I honestly think it would be in the best interests of EVERY law enforcement official across the country to NOT be believing this. It could mean the difference between staying alive and staring down the barrel of heavy duty ordnance going off in a second.
So they launched their attack at a pizza place on the day the court houses were closed
Their logic while dizzying - seems about what the expected level
Not exactly. The NSA says they only target non-domestic
communications. From the Snowden material and other sources
they just make deals with British and other intelligence agencies
to get pretty much anything they want - but they ARE in compliance
with the letter of the (mostly classified) law. Very comforting.
Does TPM have a comment policy?
Yes! TPM Media follows a simple set of rules for acceptable commenting:
1. All political viewpoints are welcome. **However, hate speech of any kind, libelous statements or threats to fellow users or others will be deleted and may be grounds for suspending or terminating a userâs account.**
Four letter words are not banned, but we ask that they be used sparingly as overuse coarsens and undermines the debate.
TPM is a venue for lively and passionate debate. **But insults, personal attacks and the like make that sort of enlivening exchange impossible. If you just want to scream and taunt, please go somewhere else.** If you have any question about what is and whatâs not acceptable, follow this rule: If you wouldnât use a certain word or talk to someone a certain way in a real-life political discussion at a Coffee House, donât do it here either.
What in the holy hell does this have to do with ANYTHING on this thread, cretin?
