Discussion: Report: Trump Told Officials He Wanted Significant Increase In Nuclear Weapons

Building and deploying more nuclear weapons will trickle down with benefits to working class people. It’ll put more crackle in their spackle-whackle and allow them to tell those vaguely Asian neighbors down the street their kind ain’t welcome in this town. And Hector, if you’re gonna be picking grapes you better be giving them to me, or your boys get turned over to ICE!!! You hear me, Hector?!!?? And hand over that lettuce, now!!! Oh God, where’s the button??!! Someone please, let me push the button!!

“Trump said that he wanted a nearly tenfold increase in the country’s nuclear capabilities after seeing a presentation…”

Must have been interesting how they did that presentation. Graphical illustrations on the Magic Drawing Board. The rain of nuclear fire illustrated by Mr. Moose and Rabbit initiating a full scale ping pong ball drop. I suppose Fred gave the talking points.

Liberal math. You probably went to a public school.

What an idiot. One also imagines that this would violate treaties the US signed on to while reducing the stockpile.

They say that the Laffer curve was drawn on a cocktail napkin. He keeps proposing policies that are too simplistic to require the napkin. They seem to have been developed in a redneck bar somewhere, after a protest by BLM, a closing of a factory, or a terrorist attack anywhere in the world. The policies all seem to have been developed from frustrated testosterone and beer.
(Apologies to red-neck bars everywhere are in order after this comment.)

Nice detail about “moron”. Btw, Trump had someone leak thar he’s serious about the IQ test. SHS needs to tout Trump’s brilliance today–“I’m not going to insult you all by denying that rhe President’s superiority is obvious .He’s smarter than all of us”

I am wondering how this all works if some of you know. When our brain dead game show host hits the launch button, what exactly happens next? Do all the silos and submarines shoot their whole wads at once, or is there some strategic plan to just toss off a few hundred at some other renegade nation? Or does Donnie Dotard have to say whom he is voting off the island in his delirium?

From a practical point of view it does not much matter who tosses the first nuke. The 100,000 ping pong balls sitting on mouse traps scenario will quickly demonstrate why a nuclear war, much like the game of golf that Trumpsky cheats at, can not be won.

This nuclear war idea certainly seems to be stuck in his mind, and he has been repeatedly been told he can not push the button so you know he will.

U.S. has around 6,800 nukes, If true, Trump wants to up that to 60,000 to 70,000 nukes. This would also require a massive build up of infrastructure - planes, silos, cruise misses, techs as well as support staff. A massive strike to the budget. It’s not gonna happen.

My guess is this is another case of Trump saying something outlandish as his opening bid, or to distract from some other reprehensible policy he’s actually putting in place.

And put them where exactly? It’s not like you can stick them in the closet with your golf clubs.

In the ever changing story mode of lies they usually dish out, your list could be the story for each day of the week.

Hopefully smarter people will tell him to stick them up his fat ass!

No. Please stop thinking there has to be some rational purpose to what he does. He is severely mentally ill. The more people realize it, the less likely we are to have a nuclear war. His illness makes him obsessed with power and strength, and emotionally unable to accept that there is a reason to have fewer nuclear weapons over time. He is not rational enough to understand that you only need enough weapons to destroy the world once. He is not rational. His obsessions–and the separate fact that he’s not very bright–have damaged his own enterprises many times over the years, damaged people around him, they’re damaging people here and abroad right now and could literally destroy the world. He. Is. Not. Rational. And we’d better start figuring out what to do about it.

What does the idiot -in-chief think Russia and China are going to do? Well right there is the real problem. Trump does not think at all. Apparently he is not capable of thought.

When you open with seven no trump, it doesn’t leave much room to maneuver.

Speaking of “no trump”, what a blissful idea.
